According to Amber Heard, an argument quickly broke out between the two spouses. Amber Heard also described several scenes of violence of which she would have been the victim, accusing Johnny Depp of having been under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
The day before, Amber Heard described at the bar her relationship with Johnny Depp. She claims that he hit and slapped her repeatedly, mad with jealousy and violent because of his addictions to alcohol and drugs. Amber Heard claims that her relationship with the actor deteriorated from 2011. Insults, throwing glass, punching the walls, Johnny Depp’s violence would have resulted, according to her, in physical and sexual violence. As a reminder, Amber Heard filed a complaint against her former husband for domestic violence in 2016, before withdrawing it beginning 2018 after the divorce proceedings have been initiated.

Amber Heard’s lawyers have for their part estimated that “this decision and this judgment are not a surprise”, the actress wishing however “to obtain justice” in another procedure which is in progress in the United States. Following this defeat, Warner Bros asked him to withdraw from his role as Gellert Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts, which he accepted. However, he continues to maintain his innocence. He is replaced by actor Mads Mikkelsen for the third part.
