Back in 1924, Joseph Robinson opened a stationery and printing company in downtown Long Beach and named it Robinson Printing. For generations, the Robinson men have been following in Grandpa Joe’s footsteps. By the early nineties, Joe’s grandson Mike, and Mike’s sons Dave and Steve, moved the company out to the beautiful Temecula Valley when they purchased Maurice Printers. Yes, but what about the environment? At Robinson Printing & Creative Media we have cared about the environment long before it became en vogue. As a matter of fact, in 2009 we recycled 149 tons of paper!
And it is important to remember that trees for paper are grown like a crop –they’re sustainable–and they only require the energy of the sun to grow. In addition, paper can be recycled and many papers will have a percentage of recycled content. Computers and electronic media devices like TVs, on the other hand, are filled with non-recyclable materials, consume enormous amounts of energy and when disposed of improperly, their contents are harmful to the environment.
